Participating in mission trips, local mission projects, or in the church is a great way YOU can make a difference. Whether you teach, repair cars or sell insurance, God can use your skills to make the world a better place. Sunday Volunteer Opportunities: Preschool Desk Rotation: Greet families and you can even watch the live stream at the desk! Welcome Desk: Head to the foyer at the end of church and greet guests or answer questions. Golf Cart Driver Rotation Head to the foyer at 9:45 and pick up guests until the 10:15 service begins. Training available. Kids Church Rotation: Help Carrie on Sunday during the 10:15 kids church service. Preschool Volunteer: Take care of some of our youngest FBLR attendees during the 10:15 service. Every room is equipped with a tv to watch the live stream! Student Ministry: Develop relationships with the students and engage with them on Sunday morning. Yes, I want more info on Sunday morning volunteer opportunities! Church Plant: Connect Church at 2100 S. Tyler Street is a church plant supported by FBLR to reach people in this community. Orphan Ministry: Fostering Hope, FBLR's orphan ministry, is in need of monthly volunteers to help prepare food for youth within our community that are in crisis. We prepare a meal the last Tuesday of each month so grab a friend, or several, and sign up today!! Yes, I want more info on serving youth in crisis! Mission Trips and Local Mission Opportunities: *Due to the pandemic, our mission opportunities look a bit different at this time. However there are still lots of ways to serve locally. Check back here for future trips. Mission trips are a platform for you to use your gifts and skills, experience a new culture, and develop strong bonds with team members in three strategic areas: Internationally: (Dominican Republic, Italy, Russia, Peru) Nationally: (New York City, Seattle, South Dakota) Locally: (Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Union Rescue Mission, Watershed) The Tree The Tree is a week-long mission project designed to reach our community with the love of Christ during the Christmas season featuring a 150 voice choir, full orchestra, worshipful dance, powerful drama and a beautiful display of lights.
