Local Mission Opportunities

LOCAL MINISTRY PARTNERSHIPS:
Connect Church of Little Rock
2100 S. Tyler Street
Connect Church exists to reach the community in Little Rock at the existing Tyler Street Baptist Church, now Connect Church. Pastor Charles Simmons is our resident church planter and you can click here to find out more.
The CALL of Pulaski County:
The CALL exists to recruit, train, and equip people from local churches to become foster parents. We have a strong partnership with The CALL and host informational meetings, as well as keep items on hand for those opening their home to children. Click here for more information.
Immerse Arkansas:
FBLR has a strong relationship with Immerse Arkansas. Immerse is an organization that helps youth who have aged out of the foster care system. These are youth who have no family and limited resources to make it on their own. Our small groups feed the youth a hot meal once per month and serve as mentors throughout the year. Click here to sign up to serve or mentor.
Union Rescue Mission:
Union Rescue Mission provides services for men and women in Little Rock who need assistance with housing and getting back on their feet. Dorcas House is looking for mentors for women and children who are escaping domestic violence. The Nehemiah House provides shelter for homeless men in our city and is looking for men to come alongside them during this hard time. Click here to get information for mentoring.
Downline:
Downline exists to make disciples in the church and community by teaching and equipping men and women. Join the institute which meets from August until May. You will learn the Bible like never before. Find out more at downlinelittlerock.com or click here for more information.
Monthly Visits:
We have a team who visits members each month who are unable to participate in daily activities as they once could. We simply take them a card, have a short visit, and bring any needs back to the church. Please click here to receive more information or to sign up.
