The Tree - 2017 Cast Information
Remaining Rehearsals:
Sunday, December 4, 3pm - This important rehearsal will be one that we need to run every song at least once. It is our first chance to put everything together and see how it works. Please hydrate and eat before you come and let's finish strong!
Tuesday, December 6, 6pm - Our last run-through. We will try our best to run this without stopping and see how it "flies."
Cast Member Information:
Choir Members - You need to be in place, in the fellowship hall, 45 minutes before the performance start time. You need to park at Fullbright Elementary School and busses will be running beginning at 5:30 each evening to bring you to the church. We will have someone watching your cars at Fullbright, but please do not leave valuables in them. After each performance, the busses will take you back to Fullbright and will run at least 30-45 minutes to allow you time to get there.
Childcare - Childcare will officially open for the cast one hour before the show begins. However, if you have a special need for an earlier time, we have some staff on duty 30 minutes prior to that time. You may bring your kids with you and eat in the fellowship hall before taking them to the childcare volunteers. On Saturday and Sunday, please pick up your kids after the matinee and feed them in the fellowship hall before returning them to the childcare volunteers.
Orchestra Members - You need to be in place, in the fellowshp hall, 45 minutes before the performance start time. You will also park at Fullbright (see Choir Members above) and shuttle to the church. I will release you in time to tune before each show. Brandon Wilson will be tuning you all.
Food - Each night at 5:30 there will be food available for the cast in the fellowship hall. Volunteers will make this available until we meet at 6:15. We know that many of you are coming from work and we want to make food available for you. Feel free to feed your kids before you take them to the childcare volunteers as well. On days with matinees (Saturday and Sunday) there will NOT be food before the 3pm performance, but food will be available between the two performances.
Drama Cast Members - You need to be in place, in the costume room (youth room), by 6:30 each night. You will also park at Fullbright (see Choir Members above) and shuttle to the church.
Baptist Prep (Nuttin' and 2 Front Teeth) Kids - You will need to arrive by 7:15 for the evening performances, and 3:15 for the matinee performances. You need to be dropped off at door number 11 (the chapel door) and someone will meet you there. You will assemble in the band room just down the hall from that door. You will be finished no later than 8pm on the nights and 4pm in the afternoons and can be picked up at that time. Parents - If you are wanting to wait with your kids and do not have a ticket, you may sit on the bottom floor, rows 22 and higher, and watch the performance and wait on your kids. Just tell the ticket-takers that you are a parent of a kid cast member. Remember, we will give you free tickets for Sunday night if you wish to watch the whole Tree. (You need to call the church office to request them - 501 227-0010.)
First Baptist Kids (What A Glorious Night) - You need to arrive by 7:30 each night and enter through door number 6. You will be finished by 8:30 each night. When you arrive you need to go to the youth room to get your costuming ready. Mrs. Terry Ivy will be gathering you all and watching over you in the youth room.
