Jerry Wilson joined the FBLR team in 2010. He was raised in El Dorado, Arkansas and graduated from Ouachita Baptist University. He has served large churches in Virginia Beach, Orlando, Batesville and Tyler, TX before coming to FBLR. Jerry has a background in technical innovations and integrations, has education in Music Theory and Composition, and has a unique versatility in all genres of music. Jerry leads our annual Christmas production, “The Tree,” and oversees the weekly worship services. He plays many instruments and strives to use a variety of instruments and styles in worship.
Jerry also serves as our Executive Pastor at FBLR and oversees the business practices of the church, focusing on the missions of the church. When he is not working he enjoys athletics, hunting and fishing.
